A twilight susie 
Is adjusting her dress
She’s tomorrow’s story.
Better hold the press.

The tops are down,
a the radio is on.
They are playing 
that tune by Dr. John.

This side of summer 
This town is hit and run.
A crab eats a grape
on a tray in the sun.

Back at the beach, 
they’re brushing off sand
An old  woman on a porch
fold…
