Living in this test-tube...

This Is Life

Living in this test-tube,
enjoying the floral green,
treetops on a shady road,
azure sky in between.

The slender minnows
in the glistening pool.
The water is clear.
The water is cool.

Living in this test-tube,
fireflies in the night,
children running ‘round,
trying to catch the light.

The morning mist
rolls across there field,
where the birches smell
when their bark is peeled.

Living in this test-tube.
The summer’s rife.
I feel its in my heart
that this is life.
