Paint by Numbers

I muddy up the colors.
I can’t draw without lines.
I’ve got no roadmap.
I can live without signs.

I’ll work with crayons,
colored pencils or marker pen.
I’ve got to, got to
paint by numbers again.

There wasn’t a blueprint
when I first met you.
