We used to go out to see a movie
We’d go to the beach and lay in the sun.
That was all a long time ago.
Now, I am the only one.

I used to have a cassette by my phone.
I ‘check messages when my day is done.
The two of us would talk for an hour.
Now, I am the only one..

I used to think I have a lot of friends,
but the count on my fingers says none.
I’m holding an empty hand.
Now, I am the only one.
